The purpose of this site is simple. Dispel the prevailing myth common among many business owners that social media marketing is largely a drain on business resources and “not worth” the time and effort involved to “make it work.”
My experience with social media has proven the opposite to be true. From a “standing start” I achieved the following inside 3 years with a “pure” social media strategy:

Aussie Shredder Summit – Pics!

What an awesome time the Aussie Shredder Summit 2009 was! We had a wonderful action-packed time meeting our fellow ANZAC Shredders over 3 days from Friday to Sunday.
Friday Night Teppenyaki!
On Friday night we met up for dinner at Kabuki which featured all-you-can-catch dinner served up from our cook 10 ft away! We had a couple of dropped catches (of rice and eggs!) but we all had a great time!
Friday Night Meet n Greet at a Kabuki restaurant in Brissy!
Saturday at SouthBank: Blaster Challenge!
On Saturday arvo, we kicked off with a BYO Lunch in the beautiful SouthBank gardens in Brissy and followed up with a Quad Blaster Challenge and a very competitive game of touch footy (I can’t remember who won that one!).
NOTE: An Australian Quad Blaster record was set on this Challenge by the one and only Jules!!!
Saturday Night Boat Cruise with Special Guest Lilla!
We capped off our action-packed day with a Boat Cruise on Saturday Night when we all got a massive surprise…esteemed NY4 Shredder Lilla came up all the way from Byron Bay!!!
It was awesome for all ANZAC Shredders to see the one and only Lilla and we had a great time together discussing the Sphere, our fellow Shredders, and our Shred journeys. The food was A-Plus and the tunes were cool too…the dance floor even saw some Shredder Action before we docked!
Sunday at the Markets, Bike Ride & Sayonara Lunch!
And then on Sunday we had an awesome bike ride through the heart of Brissy after a stint at the Riverside Markets. We went from the Botanical Gardens across the Goodwill Bridge, and then over the Storey Bridge (after a slight detour!) and then across the Riverside bike track and back to the Botanical Gardens…all in 45 mins!

After our bike ride we made a quick stop on Queen St. Mall (to pick up some classified items!) and then made our way back over to SouthBank for our Summit Sayonara (and to celebrate my Mum’s B’day!).
I would like to say amassive thank you to AussieCleo, Jules, Mummie, Renae and Lilla for making this first Aussie Shredder Summit so much fun! Dave and I had an awesome time with you and we both look forward to seeing you continue to shred massive in the Sphere and maybe even catching up again another time!

Wow! What a day! Today was completely off the Richter in every possible way! On this day, August 8, 2009 the winners of the RTP Transformation Contest 2009 received their Mega Prize Package and Itinerary!
Announcing The RTP Grand Champions 2009 and 120 Missions Successfully Completed!
In the last 24 hours 120 Shredders officially declared “Mission Accomplished” on their 12-Week Shred, 20 Contest Finalists were recognized for their outstanding achievements, and two amazing Shredders were announced as the winners of the World’s First Real Time Accountability Body Transformation Challenge!
As you can see from the new Shredder Hall of Fame on our home page this Global Shred Mission has been a massive success. Shredders from all walks of life across 28 countries joined together in common cause and shredded their way to a total mind, body and life transformation! And not only that, we have formed bonds and friendships that in many cases will last a lifetime, the support inside the ShredderSphere has quite literally been off the Richter, and I thank each Shredder for making the Sphere a unique place where people can make their dreams a reality.
I would also like to thank my mentors Carlos DeJesus and Tom Venuto for making this Global Shred Mission possible, helping massively behind the scenes dispensing your words of wisdom, inside the Sphere giving advice and encouragement to our fellow Shredders, and also for your very professional, deliberative and thorough judging for the Contest over a 48-hour time period . Without your mentorship and guidance this would not have become a reality. Thank you from the bottom of my heart.
Thank you Mike Groom and ShredderSteve for your massive help with ShredderSphere Tech Support and Sphere design. Thank you for your expertise in running the Sphere, without your support the Sphere and all the cool new additions would not exist.

Wow! What a day! Today was completely off the Richter in every possible way!
Quad Blaster Challenge 2.0!
I rose early to get in my first protein powered oatmeal before Showdown 2.0 with the infamous Quad Blaster! That’s right Tom Venuto and I were returning to the “scene of the crime” for another round of Blaster action, at the very same spot in the very same gym we were at 500 days earlier!
During this Quad Blasting workout Tom and I did get shoot some video, stay tuned for this shocking video! You won’t believe what happened!
Meeting The RTP Grand Champions At W.Hotel Hoboken!
At 3:00PM, Tom and I made our way over to the W. Hotel Hoboken to meet the RTP Grand Champions and give them their tickets for 2 night’s stay, and went through their Massive “Event Day” Itinerary for the next day!

NYC Shredder Summit “Meet & Greet”
After meeting the Contest Winners Tom and I attended the most exciting event of the day…meeting our fellow Shredders at the NYC Shredder Summit “Meet & Greet”!
This was without a doubt the most surreal experience of my life, when Tom and I walked through the doors we were overcome with emotion, the sight of seeing 50 of our fellow Shredders in one place at one time was completely Off the Richter!
I immediately recognized so many fellow Shredders from the ShredderSphere.com community who we had been following for the previous 3 months. It was such an awesome feeling to see so many happy, glowing faces and transformed physiques!

Today’s Post is specifically for August 6, 2009.
Today was a long day, I flew in from L.A. to NYC on a 6 hour flight (landing at 4:40PM at JFK airport). From the airport I hopped on the Manhattan bus which got me into NYC 90 minutes later.
Meeting NYT Best-selling Author AJ Jacobs!
After checking in at my hotel I then had an appointment to meet an NYT Best-selling author, AJ Jacobs at his apartment in NYC. He was very interested in the RTP Transformation System and possibly using RTP & The Sphere to transform his Physique (which he would also document in his next book – on body transformation!).
My Daily Pic: On this day, AJ actually took my daily at his apartment – along with some funny pics with him and me! However, I am still yet to receive those pics from AJ, but when I do I will upload them onto this post.

Chillin’ With Shredder Doug In Muscle Beach!
Today something else very cool happened, I got to meet up with a fellow Shredder in L.A., the one and only Doug from Doug’s Daily Delta!

Doug and I had a great time cruising over to Venice Beach in Santa Monica, and seeing up close the world-famous Muscle Beach where Arnie and Franco used to work out!
Here is a pic below (Doug has pictures on his camera with the both of us so maybe Doug will upload one of these tomorrow). I also gotta say that Doug is a great Shredder, and a gentleman. We hit it off from the word go and discussed all things Sphere, it was very cool as we both knew you guys by your first names!
And also, Doug’s arms are just as impressive in person as they are on film! Doug is a committed Shredder who has gotten massive results since November 8, 2008 and I look forward to seeing Doug blow M2 outta the water!
Thanks again Doug for an awesome afternoon mate, you are a champion Shredder and a great bloke!

G’day Shredders,
Wow, here I am on Day 1000 in Los Angeles! When I think back to Day 1, November 8, 2006 in Osaka, Japan I would never in my wildest dreams have predicted I’d still be doing this blog, let alone being in L.A. 3 days out from something called a “Shredder Summit” in New York City!
It really boggles my mind what has transpired these last 1000 days, the journey I have been on personally and the one we have been on collectively, and the amazing friendships and bonds we have formed…along with massive mind-blowing body transformation results we have gotten from over 150 successfully completed Missions!
Dedicated to My Fellow Shredders
So, this post, I’d like to dedicate to you, my fellow Shredders, thank you for believing in this RTP concept of daily accountability, and thank you for putting your faith in this System, and giving your whole heart to those single daily actions.
You, and your support is the reason why I continue to do what I do, nothing gives me a greater thrill than to see a fellow Shredder break through the chains that may have held them back, and make a full-blooded mind, body and life transformation. This is still the primary objective and the driving force of the Sphere and all it encompasses.
The Longest Day Of My Life (all 41 Hours of it!)
On a personal note, I can say quite literally that today was the longest (and most hectic) day of my life. My day went for 41 hours crossing the International Date Line sometime across the Pacific around midnight Australia time, and then getting an extra 17 hours added onto August 4, 2009!
What made my day even “longer” was the fact that my 3:00PM plane out of Brisbane was cancelled (at 2:55PM!) which meant my 8:00PM connection to L.A. from Sydney was in jeopardy. Luckily, the Virgin Blue Manager saw fit to give me a “priority” slot on the next available plane at 4:00PM, which meant I still had enough time to transfer to the International Departure area in Sydney for the 8:00PM!
Once on the plane out of Sydney I was also lucky enough to get 3 “uncontested” bulkhead seats at the exit row (meaning I had nice leg room for the whole flight!). I also must say that the Virgin Australia service was A+, I highly recommend it for anyone flying from USA to Oz.
A “Little” Problem At My Hotel Check-In!
While the flight went well, I did have some not so flash news once I finally got to the hotel in Hollywood. Can you believe the manager said they had no record of my reservation! Luckily, I had my laptop with me (of course!) and proceeded to show him my reservation conformation email receipt in my inbox. He then ran another check and found my reservation!
So, now Shredders, I am in my hotel room here in Hollywood on this kinda “bizarre” day, and getting ready for a full night’s sleep and preparing myself for a massive day at my PC tomorrow to catch up on all things Sphere!
